Ruby’s Loft Party

Every Saturday in May 2024, I was invited to curate NT’s loft first ever artist residency in their month long residency series.

Week-by-week, I selected some very special guest DJ’s to join me: Chima Isaaro, Private Joy and Selassie.

“A huge thank you to Ruby for kicking off our residency series with such unforgettable energy. Keeping us moving and grooving for four magical Saturdays.”

The Future Happened:

Designing The Future Of Music

The Future Happened was an online exhibition for the Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA) examining how design and art deepens our relationship with music.  The exhibition encompassed the city’s range of influences, including 40 featured artists (both locally and globally) spanning a variation of genres.

Artists included Adama Jalloh, Charlotte Adigéry, Clipping, Peter Saville, Nep Sidhu, Daito Manabe, Spillage Village and more. Viewers were taken on a journey of exploration through categories such as technology, community and power to see how music and art can meet to drive change.

I was honoured to co-curate the exhibition alongside Lawrence Azerrad Chief Creative Officer of Macroscopic, Floyd Hall a cultural producer from Atlanta; and Marlin Fuentes, a creative technologist.

Savage Service

A month long curated Savage Service at the White Hart Bar, Melbourne every Sunday across February 2022.

Crown Ruler invited me over to curate and host a series of events. Each week was tailored to present a variation of sound offerings from Black History Month to London Massive - selecting some of Melbourne’s finest DJ’s to join me.
